KYC Policy

Mostbet is committed to maintaining a secure and compliant gaming environment for all players. As part of our regulatory obligations and to protect you as a valued player, we conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to confirm your identity and ensure the integrity of your account. This process helps us comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, prevent fraud, protect underage players, and maintain the highest standards of player safety across our platform.

Purpose of KYC Verification

KYC verification serves several essential functions. First, it is a legal requirement under our Curaçao eGaming license and international anti-money laundering regulations. Second, it protects you by preventing account takeover, identity theft, and fraudulent withdrawals. Third, it ensures minors cannot access our platform. Fourth, it helps us detect and prevent financial crimes. You are not being accused of anything—these checks protect all players and ensure most bet operates legally in your jurisdiction.

When We Request Your Documents

We may request KYC documentation in the following situations: during account registration; before your first withdrawal; when you exceed certain deposit or wagering thresholds; if you change your payment method; if our risk monitoring systems flag unusual account activity; or during periodic account reviews. We strive to request only the information necessary at each stage.

Identity Documents

To verify your identity, you must submit one of the following documents: a valid passport, a national identity card, or a government-issued driver's license. Your document must be clear, in colour (if applicable), show your full name and date of birth, and be current or expired by no more than 12 months. If your document is double-sided, please provide scans of both sides. The image quality must be legible—no blurred, cropped, or obscured details are acceptable.

Proof of Address

We require proof that you live at the address you registered. Acceptable documents include a recent utility bill (electricity, water, or gas), a bank statement, a phone bill, or an official certificate from your local government or landlord. Your proof of address must be dated within the last three months, display your full name and residential address, and be an original document or certified copy. Postal boxes are not accepted as a proof of address.

Payment Method Verification

To confirm the payment method belongs to you, we may request documentation such as a screenshot of your eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, or other e-wallet account showing your name; a masked bank statement showing the final four digits of your account; a photo of your card (front and back, with the middle digits masked for security); or a screenshot of your cryptocurrency wallet address. These documents help prevent money laundering and unauthorized account access.

Source of Funds and Source of Wealth

For deposits exceeding certain thresholds or accounts flagged for review, we may ask you to explain the origin of your funds. This is a standard AML requirement. You may be asked to provide payslips, tax returns, inheritance documents, gift letters, or other proof that your funds come from a legitimate source. This is not an accusation—it is a regulatory safeguard to protect the integrity of the platform and comply with international financial standards.

Enhanced Due Diligence

Certain players may be classified as higher-risk and subject to enhanced due diligence (EDD). This includes individuals who are politically exposed persons (PEPs), those with ties to high-risk jurisdictions, or accounts showing unusual patterns. If your account is subject to EDD, you may be asked for additional documentation or information. We conduct these checks fairly and transparently, and you will always be informed of the reason for the request.

How to Submit Your Documents

You can submit your KYC documents securely through your player account cabinet (dashboard). Log in, navigate to the verification or documents section, and upload your files. Accepted file formats are PDF, JPG, and PNG, with a maximum size of 10 MB per file. Ensure images are clear, well-lit, and not cropped. If you need assistance, our support team is available 24/7 via live chat, email at [email protected], phone, or Telegram.

Document Review Timeline

Our compliance team typically reviews submitted documents within 24 to 72 hours. In peak periods or for complex cases requiring additional checks, review may take slightly longer. You will receive a notification when your documents have been approved or if we need additional information. If additional documents are requested, you will have seven days to submit them. During the review period, your account remains active, though withdrawals may be restricted until verification is complete.

Data Security and Privacy

Your personal and financial information is encrypted, stored securely, and handled in strict confidence. We do not share your KYC documents with third parties except as required by law or our regulatory obligations. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Your data is treated with the highest level of security to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

Periodic Re-verification

KYC is not a one-time process. We may ask you to re-verify your identity periodically (typically annually or when your documents expire), after extended periods of inactivity, or if regulatory requirements change. You will be notified well in advance of any re-verification requirement. Prompt re-verification helps us maintain a secure environment and ensure ongoing compliance.

Failure to Comply

If you do not submit requested KYC documents or if submitted documents are fraudulent or incomplete, we cannot process your withdrawal requests. Your account will gradually be restricted, and repeated non-compliance may result in permanent account closure. In the event of account closure, your deposits will be refunded in accordance with anti-money laundering regulations and our terms of service. We do not retain funds from players who fail to verify—we simply cannot permit continued gaming activity. If you believe your account has been unfairly restricted, please contact our support team to discuss your situation.
